Tennessee trip

Ok-I am waaaay behind on my blogging so I am going to try and catch up. It will be quite a task and a bit overwhelming. We had a very busy summer between spending time at the pool and playdates with friends. Colton also went to Camp Thurman this year which is a week long day camp where they do swimming, zip lines, climbing nets, archery, bb guns, etc. He went with 8 of his friends and he had a blast! He can't wait to go again next year. We also went to Tennessee for 2 weeks to spend time with Granny and Pa. This time was special because Daddy got to join us for a few days and go to Pigeon Forge with us. It was fun taking him to do all the stuff we do up there and it was also nice having the extra help with the kiddos:) We went to the Dixie Stampede for a dinner show and went swimming in the hotel pool a lot. We also went on a Jurassic dinosaur boat ride that Carson loved. He liked it so much Pa took him on it a second time the next day. It had a scary T-rex that he both liked and was a little scared of. When we were going on it the first time he was sitting next to me. Once the ride started and it got dark, he leapt over the seat into Mike's lap. I guess he felt Daddy could protect him better:) We did a few go-cart tracks(they have huge, multi-level outdoor tracks there), played at the arcades, and rode many kiddie rides. Colton took daddy to Wonderworks(the upside-down house that has lots of cool science-type things) I took him a few years ago and he really enjoyed it so he wanted Mike to see it.
