Glen Rose Camping Trip

Over Memorial Day weekend we went camping in Glen Rose with our neighbors/friends the Carys. We camped for two nights and went to Dinosaur Valley Park one day and Fossil Rim the next day. In between activities the kids went swimming at the pool several times. Colton loved the Dinosaur Park, not for the cool dinosaur footprint impressions or life size dinosaurs, but because there was a river you could walk through(or in his case swim in). Fossil Rim is a like a drive through zoo where animals come right up to your car and you can feed them. We all sat in the back of Mike's truck so it was pretty cool having the animals so close. Carson loved feeding the animals(of course!), but Colton was a little scared of them. We were a little disappointed because somehow we missed the zebras when we drove through:( Overall the trip was very fun and we would definitely go to Glen Rose again.

After a long weekend of camping what do the little ones want to do? Take baths, get in their PJ's and settle in on the couch to have popcorn and a movie!
