Colton's Christmas Party at School

Colton had his Christmas party at school that I was able to go up and help with. They had the kids rotate through three rooms-cookie decorating, a craft which was decorating an ornament, and a game called pass the present. Colton had a good time and I was so happy to get to share it with him. Thanks Granny B for watching the babies so I could go!

Christmas is Finally Here!

We had another wonderful Christmas this year. We spent Christmas Eve at Mike's parent's house and Christmas Day at our house. Colton got a motorcycle from Santa Clause, Carson got a dune buggy, and Ashlyn got a ride-on and a stroller with baby dolls. They received a whole assortment of great gifts from family. I hope the kids realize how fortunate they are.

Christmas in Downtown Grapevine

Downtown Grapevine is awesome during the holidays. They have everything so lit up and they have a huge tree by the gazebo with a light show that goes along with the Christmas music playing. They also have a life size Christmas village the kids love. We have made it a Christmas tradition to take the kids down to see everything the week of Christmas. Granny and Pa went with us(daddy was at home sick with a cold)and it was fun, but very cold out. Here are a few pictures.

Gaylord

Here are some pictures from our annual excursion to the Gaylord. We go every year before Christmas because there is so much for the kids to do and some great picture opportunities if they would ever learn to cooperate! The kids love all the train sets and Christmas decorations. They really loved the snow hills they have for kids to tube down. Mommy and daddy even went down a few times:) Carson and Ashlyn were a big hit at the Gaylord-everyone kept commenting on how cute they were in their Santa suit and dress. They were both pretty adorable-hehe!

Carson X-mas Party and Performance

Carson had his Christmas party at school which was basically cookies and a book exchange. For some reason he looks really sad in the pictures:( He also had a Christmas performance where they sang songs(one was the Little Drummer Boy-Carson's favorite!). When he finally spotted me in the audience he smiled really big and started waving. Just melts my heart!

The Santa Picture

Every year we take the kids to get their picture with Santa and every year it is a disaster. This year was no exception. Ashlyn started crying immediately when we put her in Santa's lap. Can't say I blame her though-Santa looks super creepy in the picture!

Christmas Party at the LeBlanc's

Our friends, the LeBlanc's, had their second annual Christmas get together. It was supposed to be just like last year-watch the Trophy Club Christmas parade and then roast hot dogs and smores in their fire pit in the backyard. Unfortunatley, this year it was raining so the parade got postponed and we had to have the party inside. Everyone still had a blast though and Natalie was wonderful(and very brave!) to open her home to all those crazy, rowdy kids. All the food was great and the kids loved the cookie decorating at the end. As you can see from the pictures, even Ashlyn had a great time!
