Colton Loses his 1st Tooth

Colton lost his very first tooth today! Unfortunately, he literally lost it so there is no tooth to put under the pillow for the tooth fairy. We were in the backyard swimming in the little pool and he came over and asked me if his tooth was gone. I looked and sure enough it was missing! A search then commenced, but turned up nothing. We looked in the pool and in the grass all around the pool. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack so we eventually gave up. He may have even swallowed it. We are leaving the tooth fairy a note explaining what happened in hopes she will still leave him some money:) I am still kicking myself for not trying to pull it in the morning because it was just barely hanging on the night before. I'm trying not to be too bummed about not having his very first tooth to save. I will definitely make sure I get the next one, which will probably be soon because the one next to the lost one is loose also. The joys of growing up!

Look at that toothless grin!

Colton went to a pirate party tonight. I told him his missing tooth helped out his costume and made him look like an authentic pirate!

Colton is really proud of that missing tooth. He looks so cute and looks great in his pirate's costume. I am so happy he was able to wear it to the party:)

Colton sure looks like a pirate with that missing tooth. Couldn't have come at a better time. :)

Glad his pirate costume worked out. Did you have Mike suspended over the backyard with a magnifing glass looking for that tooth? (You know, like Honey I Shrunk the Kids) Haha...
